Saturday at the Fiber Festival, couldn't ask for better weather. Only
75 degrees and a nice breeze. Lots of vendors and lots of buyers. I
was really surprised to see the amount of yarns and things that were
being sold. Stood in a lot of lines to pay for items. This was in the barn
Outdoor vendors. Don't know what was so interesting down there!
Llama's, love them! This one was so friendly and the woman who
owned her let me hold on to her while she took the picture.
Yep, that's me, my niece Kayla is standing in the background.
In the barn were the Alpacas. Love the bushy heads.
eaten the plastic? Looked like it wanted too. Would have chewed our
fingers too, if we'd let him.
I got some nice chenille yarns. Some roving for felting and a few
supplies. Show you those tomorrow. After the day in Allegan, Kayla
and I picked more blueberries. I think I got enough of those for the
winter now!
What a great day for a festival. Looks like you should have a llama!
ReplyDeleteYou and Kayla looked like you were having a great time.
I was thinking the same thing. A llama on a leash and I look pretty good together. Kayla says she's my shopping assistant. I just hand her my bags and water bottle while I finger the fibers.
ReplyDeleteI missed fantastic weather! And the llamas of course. Looks like I am not going to make it next year. My husband broke the news to me that his school is starting early again next year. :(
ReplyDeleteI was very bummed! I will have to live vicariously through your photos.
Were there any button makers there this year?
It was the best weather ever! And its too bad you aren't coming next year. I didn't seen many buttons, just a few vintage and a vendor selling polyclay ones. But I wasn't looking for buttons either.
ReplyDeleteI'll for sure take pictures next year.
