You couldn't have asked for a better day for a parade. The sky was
so clear and the clouds so white and wispy. Lots of people, not a
single person we saw did we know. Sitting on chairs in front of the
Post Office, Geary and I and the dog. Police, fire trucks, High School
bands, Queens and their Courts, an ex-large group of Vote for Me and
Change the World Democrats...where were the Republicans? Some
people shouting Obama, that in a distance sounded like YO Mama!
What a hoot! We laughed at that one.........
Gingerman, the old fart's band, and then the horses. Last but not least
the street cleaner.
Just have to love the small town parades!
Our Church float for the Rainforest Adventure. Nothing personal, but I
think we had the best in the parade. Epiphany....I've had a couple of
those. Actually its a church.
Afterwards we went to the Northside and got sandwiches from the Deli
and ate them in the park. A perfect day all around...later the fireworks.
These are the things that made up my Fourth...God Bless America!!!
The parade looks like it was fun!!
ReplyDeleteThe rain forest jeep was great.
We just stayed home out of the heat.
