ABS Ornament Hop

In the spirit of the season, I joined the ABS Ornament Hop.
Its the first annual, and hopefully there will be many more,
because I thought this one was really fun! All we had to do
was make an ornament or two using art beads. How simple
is that?

The first ornament pictured uses two of Humblebeads

Winter series pendants. I added a nice Green Girl

Studios nest charm and some accent beads.

I love word pendants. So I chose to use a bead from

Diane Hawkey that I got at her open house in November.

I added one of her accent beads and used a dragonfly from

Vintaj, along with some of their accent beads.

My last ornament I just kept simple. A beautiful snowflake

pendant from The Classic Bead, a silk ribbon was all

it needed to fit right in with my other special ornaments.

Remember, this is a hop. Follow these links, there are a lot

of fun ornaments to be seen. Maybe you would like to

design some of your own. Start a tradition of handmade

Art Bead ornaments. Merry Christmas to all.

  5. The word pendants are the best, aren't they?
Well, these are certainly eye catching, but I have to say the snowflake is my fav. I think that's really cool how you incorporated so many artbeads in the first ornament.

Happy Holidays to you and yours, jeannie

  7. We got a major dump of snow yesterday... I don't need snow to make if feel like Christmas, although I do like your snowflake ornament... IF the stuff just stayed indoors on Christmas trees instead of turning into ice on my stairs I'd be happy!

Wishing you a happy & safe Holiday Season!

  9. Your ornaments are beautiful! I'm hard-pressed to declare a favorite--probably the one with Diane Hawkey's word bead. I love those word beads, but hadn't thought about using them for ornaments. Great idea!

  12. Well aren't you the little Chrismtas elf! I LOVE the Humblebeads one, of course. They are all awesome and I bet they look lovely on your tree. We should have done an ornament exchange instead of a hop!
