In the spirit of the season, I joined the ABS Ornament Hop.
Its the first annual, and hopefully there will be many more,
because I thought this one was really fun! All we had to do
was make an ornament or two using art beads. How simple
is that?
The first ornament pictured uses two of Humblebeads
Winter series pendants. I added a nice Green Girl
Studios nest charm and some accent beads.
I love word pendants. So I chose to use a bead from
Diane Hawkey that I got at her open house in November.
I added one of her accent beads and used a dragonfly from
Vintaj, along with some of their accent beads.
My last ornament I just kept simple. A beautiful snowflake
pendant from The Classic Bead, a silk ribbon was all
it needed to fit right in with my other special ornaments.
Remember, this is a hop. Follow these links, there are a lot
of fun ornaments to be seen. Maybe you would like to
design some of your own. Start a tradition of handmade
Art Bead ornaments. Merry Christmas to all.

Thanks for stopping by my blog to comment Rosanne! Guinness brownies sound pretty darn good to me :) You know your email is set to "noreply-comment@blogger.com" right? There's no way to email back on your comments!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!
ReplyDeleteOOOH! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hop around and see what goodies everyone has cooked up!
Enjoy the day, Roseanne!

Hey, Rosanne - so good to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hop around and see all the ornaments tomorrow. I know there are going to be some beautiful creations.
ReplyDeleteThe word pendants are the best, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWell, these are certainly eye catching, but I have to say the snowflake is my fav. I think that's really cool how you incorporated so many artbeads in the first ornament.
Happy Holidays to you and yours, jeannie
Wow! I love your ornaments! They are truly beautiful! I'm sure your tree will look wonderful with these ornaments! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWe got a major dump of snow yesterday... I don't need snow to make if feel like Christmas, although I do like your snowflake ornament... IF the stuff just stayed indoors on Christmas trees instead of turning into ice on my stairs I'd be happy!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy & safe Holiday Season!

Wow, three ornaments! You are ambitious. I love them all!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day,

Your ornaments are beautiful! I'm hard-pressed to declare a favorite--probably the one with Diane Hawkey's word bead. I love those word beads, but hadn't thought about using them for ornaments. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI bet those beautiful ornaments are lovely on your tree. Each one is my new favorite! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ornaments, Rosanne! I love your blog, too!
ReplyDeleteLynda
Well aren't you the little Chrismtas elf! I LOVE the Humblebeads one, of course. They are all awesome and I bet they look lovely on your tree. We should have done an ornament exchange instead of a hop!
ReplyDeleteThey are all great! Busy, busy, busy.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Tari
Great ideas for decorating the tree so personally. Love your choice of the art beads in these. Just right for the season.
ReplyDeletethese would look great on my tree..beautiful work
ReplyDeleteLove the dragonfly with purple- very unique! The Humblebeads ornament is so cute, and the little nest really sets it off! Who doesn't need more snowflakes? That little guy will look cute anywhere! I love how you have sourced so many artisans for your work, it really makes your pieces special!
ReplyDeleteLovely ornaments. I adore the pastel colors.
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely especially your first design...I am a real bird lover!
