Today my sister Sue and I and Kayla went to see the
butterflies at Frederick Meijer Gardens. I don't know if
we were earlier this year or what, but it seemed like this
time there were hundreds (and they said they let go about
six hundred a week) of butterflies. Flitting around all over.
Way before they were beautiful insects, they lived in
these cocoons. Here they are in different stages, some
just coming out, some drying wings, and others ready
to take off. See the big guy in the top right corner?
He gets turned loose in the evening. If you want to see
more of the Gardens just go to my Flickr page and take a
look.
That's so cool! Thanks for sharing your awesome info :)
