LogCabin Quilter's Show

This was a busy weekend for me. Celebrated my
mom's birthday and then celebrated mine. Its
taken me two days to get over it too! Wah! I don't
recover as fast as I used too. Could it have been
the bowling that I hadn't done in 25 years...or the
beer? 53 ain't like 23 that's for sure....:0(
Best part of the weekend was going to the Quilt
Show in Kalamazoo. The Log Cabin Quilters
sponsored it. Lots of nice quilts to look at.

It would have been nicer if they had run
the air conditioning. It really sucks all the
joy of looking at stuff if your sweating like
you've been sitting in a sauna. Sheesh! Did
manage to shop for some fabrics. Got some
really wild Halloween prints, I want to do a
table runner. After I bought the fabric I
thought, "Wait I need a pattern!". But I
rethought and figured I could do one on
my own. I have much more confidence about
my artitst ability lately. I thank the BJP group
for that.

One of my favorite things to look at are the Art dolls.
I should be looking for a doll show to go to . Than I
could really go crazy. Add doll making to the list of
things I want to do.

  1. I love those Art Dolls. I have never been to a quilt show. One of these days I will have to go to one with you. I am glad you had a good day on your birthday!
