Fiber Magic

Mix the dyes, put it in a pot of water, add fiber
and vinegar, heat to the right temp, and stir gently.
After 30 minutes the magic is complete! It was
amazing. Most interesting part is when the fiber
"strikes" the color. You take it out of the water and
there is no dye in the pot...just water. All the dye
is in the fabric. Magic!

Color Samples

We dyed four types of fiber, two colors of wool,
one mohair and one alpaca strand. When we were
done we had samples and formulas for each of the
colors.
